Your privacy matters

You decide when to use your microphone.

SagotMo! is an early educational beta. Here is how the current website handles common types of information.

1. Microphone recording

Microphone access is optional and requires your browser's permission. When enabled, SagotMo! records an attempt in the active browser session for playback. The current website does not intentionally upload those replay recordings to a SagotMo! server. You can choose timer-only mode instead.

2. Optional speech recognition

If you enable experimental Speech Coach counting, the browser's speech-recognition service may send audio or recognition-related data to its provider. That processing is separate from in-browser recording and depends on your device, browser, and provider. Do not enable Speech Coach if you do not want that processing.

3. Practice results

Some preferences and practice records may be stored in your browser's local storage. They are not public leaderboards. Clearing site data can remove locally stored results. This beta has no player accounts or password collection.

4. Website analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to measure website traffic and performance. Cloudflare describes its service as privacy-first. Website hosting and access logs may also be processed by Cloudflare in delivering the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

5. Children and public sharing

Younger players should practise with a parent, teacher, or guardian when appropriate. You do not need to publish your name, photo, voice, or result on social media. Do not share another person's recording without their permission.

6. Third-party links

Some pages may link to dictionaries, social sites, or other external resources. Their privacy policies apply when you leave SagotMo!.

7. Questions or changes

See our Contact page for information about reaching the creator. This page explains the current beta's behaviour and should be reviewed again before introducing player accounts, new tracking tools, advertisements, or commercial speech-processing services.
