Understand your results

Your recording and your transcript are different.

Speech recognition is useful for practice, but it can miss repetitions or substitute words—especially when people speak quickly.

What SagotMo! records

With your permission, the browser can record your voice so that you can replay the attempt during the current session. The optional Speech Coach separately asks the browser to recognize spoken words.

Why a count may be too low

Some embedded mobile browsers stop recognition early, combine repeated phrases, or transcribe a word differently. If you clearly completed six passages but recognition received just one full passage, its estimate may be one even when the full recording contains six.

How to review a result

Why rankings aren't available

Accurate competition results require consistent scoring rules, consent, an adequate audio recording, and reliable human or validated automated review. The current pilot does not provide independently verified rankings.

For a more reliable experience on an iPhone, try opening SagotMo! in Safari rather than a social app's built-in browser. Recording and recognition support can still vary.
